You always have the right to refrain from providing the following types of information, or to choose what the amount of information you wish to provide. Without purchasing a package, you can provide us with your name and email address in order to sign up for our newsletter. When you do purchase a package, we require you to provide us with your full name, contact information, and payment information. Furthermore, in order to take advantage of our design services, you are asked to provide a significant amount of personal detail, including previous and current employment, educational background, goals and objectives, personal interests, and your existing resume(s) if available.

If you send personal correspondence to us, such as e-mails or letters, we may collect such information into a file specific to you.

2. IP Address and Cookies

In the course of using our site, we automatically track certain information about you. This information is sent over the internet without your control. This information includes the URL that you just came from (whether this URL is on our site or not), which URL you go to next (whether this URL is on our site or not), what browser you are using, and your IP address. Most sites automatically collect this information.

This information is gathered automatically and stored in log files. We may use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, and to track users’ movements around the site.

We use the information you provide to fulfill your requests for customized services, including the design, editing, and delivery of those customized work products and to you.

Additionally, we may use personally identifiable information about you internally to improve our marketing and promotional efforts, to statistically analyze site usage, to improve our content and product offerings and to customize our site's content and layout. We believe these uses allow us to improve our site and better tailor it to meet your needs.

We may wish to display, on our website, a design template that we customized for you. If we display such a template, we will remove all personally identifiable information.

RockYourResume.com uses industry-standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information, such as firewalls and Secure Socket Layers. However, "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet.

If you sign up for our newsletter or purchase a package, we keep your name and contact information in our database in order to send you our newsletter or deliver our product to you. Once you have completed our survey of your employment and educational history, goals and objectives, and/or submitted your existing resume(s) to us, we access your personal information to provide the design services you have purchased. We retain your personal information in our client database in order to aid in the provision of any additional services you may subsequently purchase.

If you purchase a package, your financial information is automatically encrypted and transmitted for payment processing through Bank of America. The payment processing uses industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to protect the data transmissions. To process an order, it is necessary to transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company. However, we reveal only the last five digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order.

Your Ability to Delete Your Information

At any time upon your request, we will delete the non-financial information that you have provided to us or that we have collected from you. At any time, you may request to opt out of receiving our newsletter. Our contact information is provided below under &lquo;Questions and Suggestions.&rquo;

Changes to this Privacy Policy

If we update our Privacy Policy, we will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary e-mail address specified in your RockYourResume client account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
